The Kniwwelino hardware is a micro-controller development platform that includes a board and a visual programming tool (Kniwwelino Blockly) adapted for kids and an Arduino library. The Kniwwelino hardware consists of a 5×5 LEDs matrix, a RGB LED and two push buttons. There are additional ports that can be used to extend the board by additional sensors and other peripherals. The underlying micro-controller platform is also embedding a Wi-Fi stack. That enables the Kniwwelino to connect itself to other Kniwwelinos over the Internet. By implementing standard IoT message protocols, like MQTT it could be easily be integrated in existing IoT installations. The small size of the printed circuit board makes it possible to embed the Kniwwelino in nearly every crafted enclosure or object to not limit the development of the child's creativity.
The Kniwwelino website (http://www.kniwwelino.lu and http://doku.kniwwelino.lu) provides information and documentation to be directly used with the Kniwwelino hardware or to be the starting point for first code modifications. It gathers also projects provided by the Kniwwelino users.
The Kniwwelino hardware is presented “as is” and any express of implied warranties, including but not limited to the implied warranties of fitness for a particular purpose are disclaimed.
The Kniwwelino website contains projects and programming examples from LIST but also hosts projects developed by Kniwwelino users. LIST disclaims any responsibility regarding the content of those projects and programming examples. They are providing “as is” and without warranties that the projects and programming examples are working or that they are fit for a particular purpose.
In no event unless required by applicable law or agreed in writing will LIST be liable for damages, including any special, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use or inability to use Kniwwelino hardware or the content of Kniwwelino website (including but not limited to loss of data).
The content of the Kniwwelino website is distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International license If you post projects, pictures, videos on the Kniwwelino website, you agree to license these contents under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0.
When using the Kniwwelino hardware and/or website and by posting on the Kniwwelino website, you commit that:

When creating an account on Kniwwelino website, you undertake to provide your real name and information and not to provide any false personal information. You undertake to keep your contact information accurate and up-to-date. You undertake to create only one personal account.
LIST reserves the right to disable an account when appropriate. In such case, you will not create another one without LIST’s permission.
You may also choose to temporarily deactivate or permanently delete your account at any time.
You can at any time stop using the Kniwwelino website and stop publishing new projects. Moreover LIST reserves the right at any time to suspend or end the services, block your account or access. If your account is blocked or otherwise terminated for any reason, you might require LIST to withdraw your public contributions. Otherwise, they will remain publicly available.
LIST reserves the right to periodically publish updated or new versions of the present terms of conditions of use.
These terms and conditions of use are subject to the laws of Luxembourg. In case of disputes concerning the validity, interpretation, executions of those terms and conditions, the Courts of Luxembourg will be exclusively competent.
We at LIST respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information in compliance with the applicable legislation and in particular with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679.
When you register on the platform, you will have to provide your name as well as an email address of yours. It will allow us to manage your personal account and to allow you to have access to your account in the future. We will also register your IP address for being able to trace back the changes made on the platform, to credit contribution and avoid misuse. When you connect your Kniwwelino to the Wi-Fi, you will be asked to enter an SSID password. This information is only stored on your Kniwwelino device and will not be transmitted to any of our servers or third parties. We will also store your Kniwwelino MAC address to be able to deliver your software updates and your software projects. When you fill in the feedback form we ask you also your name and e-mail if you want LIST to reply to you. LIST will process and record those data only in relation to the above-mentioned finalities and in accordance with the applicable legislation. LIST will treat your data confidentially and will not communicate your data to third parties without your consent.
We will only keep your data for as long as we need it to give you access to your account and to give you credit for your contributions.
You can access, review, update, correct or delete the personal data you have provided us by sending an email at the following address dpo@list.lu. You can also at any time decide to close your account by sending an email to dpo@list.lu.
